About your course
We look forward to welcoming you to our virtual classroom, when you join us to update your Quality Management Systems knowledge and credentials, on your ISO 9001 Transition course.
This workshop concentrates on the practical transition from ISO 9001:2015 to ISO 9001:2026. Rather than teaching the whole standard again, we focus our three hours on the revision: what is different, what it means, what evidence auditors may look for, and what organisations should consider doing next.
Successful candidates will be awarded a digital Certificate of Completion from the Scottish Quality Management Centre.
Virtual classroom
SQMC use Zoom as our virtual classroom platform. This is the most user-friendly video conferencing app we found (and we've experimented with so many!) and you can download this, free, at www.zoom.us, if you do not have it already. If you can achieve an upload speed of at least 2 MBps and a download speed of 16 MBps or greater, you should be fine (this is well above the minimum requirements suggested by Zoom). You can measure your broadband performance at the following link: https://www.broadbandspeedchecker.co.uk A technician will be in the background on the day of the course looking after the techy stuff, so any glitches or hiccups you may have can be sorted immediately.
SQMC's Learners' Portal
To accompany your tuition, you will receive course reference material on the "my.SQMC" learning portal. This is powered by the LearnWorlds platform, so do keep an eye out for an enrollment email from that name.
Timings and method
Our virtual classroom opens at 9:15 am, with the course beginning at 9:30 am. This allows 15 minutes to resolve any technical issues any of the delegates or staff may experience, initially.

The course will end by 1:00 pm, to allow for breaks and questions throughout the session. Please note that continuous attendance throughout (with the exception of comfort breaks) is a requirement for certification. Where appropriate, our tutor will assess your learning through practical and written exercises, and/or your verbal input.
