If you still require to update your environmental auditor qualification

Internal EMS Auditors who trained to either the "2004" or "1996" versions of ISO 14001, but missed the deadline to update through attendance on a Transition module, are advised to enrol on an ISO 14001 Internal Auditor course to regain their qualification. Please note that Auditor certificates that don't verify training to the current "2015" version of the Standard are not acceptable during certification audits.

Is it mandatory to update?

The Standard requires it for those already trained to previous versions; the later of which become obsolete in September 2018.

Please don't hesitate to call our advisors during UK office hours if you have any questions.
