Intro
ISO 9001:2000 provides industry with a useful model for business process improvement. Within this model, ISO9001 identifies the internal audit process as a vital tool in the maintenance and continual improvement of a customer-focused, process-based quality management system (QMS).

Aim
The aim of this 14-hour course is to provide participants who intend to perform internal audits with the knowledge and skills needed to assess and report on the conformance and effective implementation of processes, through internal audit, and to contribute to the continual improvement of the QMS.

Who should attend?
People involved in QMS auditing processes within their organisation, i.e. staff designated to be Internal QMS Auditors, or those who will be affected by QMS audits. Also, managers who want to know what to expect from an Internal Audit!

Positive Communication channels are opened up or reinforced by a greater awareness of quality procedures. This SQMC course also earns 42 CQI CPD points.
